Our director is crazy
Liam is off on a wild Canadian Goose chase, running on his own daft feet from Vermont to Winnipeg, Manitoba. He hopes to discover something metaphysical and inspirational, but he's certainly going to find earnest excitement. And moose. Click the image on the left to witness his travails firsthand. Oh, and did we mention:
Liam's writing a film about a ghost.
Zephyr premiered at the White River Indie Fest on May 14th, 2016 at the gorgeous Barrette Center for the Arts in White River, VT. Our audience grabbed sweet swag, killer merch and a had a chance to talk with the filmmakers. Following that, Zephyr marched on to the Endless Mountains Film Fest, the Western New York Film & Art Fest, the Middlebury New Filmmakers Fest, the Live Free Or Die Fest, the Great Lakes Int'l Film Fest, the Milwaukee Edge Film Fest, the Frostbite Film Fest & the Smoky Mountians Film Fest. A huge thank you to all these fantastic fests for bringing the Zephyr gang to its audience and to all the other participants that made this one hell of an event!
To this date, Zephyr has earned 4 Best Feature awards, A Best Screenplay, Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor awards. We raise our guitars to everyone who helped us get here--from our amazing cast and crew to our wonderful sponsors that supported us. You rock!
Zephyr's got EVERYTHING. Action? Explosive. Humor? Unbelievable. Romance? Sizzling. Music to make your soul scream? OH YES.
Zephyr is a film about Connor, Izzy and Alec, a band of thieves who become a band of rockers in order to escape the mob. It's also about April, a girl stuck in her own head, whose life is turned upside-down when this hot new band crashes into her small Vermont town.
What unrolls next is a lightning-paced adventure, testing the limits of friendship, fandom and fame. It's got sex, drugs and rock & roll. It's got abandoned churches & stolen vans. It's got love in all shapes and sizes. It's got the most monkey hats to ever appear on-screen.
We shot Zephyr the summer of 2015, living 5 weeks in a barn in Ryegate, VT. There are rumors that folks are so inspired by the film that they've started to form their own gangs of musical thieves. If you see anyone in a monkey hat trying to play a stolen guitar, please do not attempt to engage.
They just might convince you to run away with them.
LAST TIME THEY TRIED THIS, A FERRIS WHEEL CAUGHT ON FIRE.
